Scented Lye Soap
Our customers have asked us for a bit more variety in our old fashion lye soaps, and we aim to please!
As a soap maker, I love castor oil. It's an old fashion ingredient that was used for quite a few remedies around the house. By adding castor oil to our popular lye soap recipe, better lather and conditioning properties are added to the soap. This line of lye soaps will still feel soothing to the skin, but will lather up better than our original Traditional Lye Soap. It's a great option for people with nut allergies. The castor oil will help with lather but not have the effects adverse effects of coconut or other nut oils that many people have sensitivity with when using certain nut ingredients.
Our first of the new line of lye soap is Mint. Within the next few months, we will be adding more fragrances. The fragrances will be either natural essential oil blend, or highly scented fragrance oils.
