Bulk Basic Lye Soap
Product Description
This is our strong lye soap - not enough to hurt you, but certainly is a drying style of soap. It's the soap that's great for washing, poison ivy or oak and for very oily skin types.
Please note - this soap log does NOT cut smoothly with a knife or simple wire. It is an extremely brittle soap and may break into uneven chunks. Some of our customers use a band saw to cut slices - it's that hard. Again, this soap will not cut into nice slices like our other logs which have more moisturizing oils.
Ingredients are Lard, tallow, water and lye (sodium hydroxide).
You will receive a 3 pound log.
Each log cuts in to 10 4 ounce bars. Log size is 3.5" x 2.5" x 10.5"
