Product Description

Used for over 100 years by local Missourians, this is a time honored, traditional backwoods salve. We will mention upfront, it does not smell pretty! We make no recommendations nor prescribe how to use this drawing liniment. Stories with quite a bit of colorful lore have attributed many amazing benefits to this thick pungent salve. This recipe comes from Paris, Missouri. Mostly people applied the liniments to bee stings, infected small insect bits or sores. The anti-septic properties of the pine tar was reported to assist with healing.

Metal container with a sliding top contains 3/4 of an ounce. Ingredients of Pine Tar, Lard, Beeswax and Castor Oil.

Customer Comments:

"Black Drawing Salve is a fabulous product! I recently got a deep splinter on my index finger, too deep to try to get out with tweezers. I put black drawing salve on the spot and covered with a Band-Aid and late the next day the splinter had come to the surface and I was able to easily remove it. What a miracle product! Thank you from a grateful, loyal customer." Virginia in MO

"Thank you for making this old remedy that my mother always had in the cabinet. I like it for my fire ant bites. It soothes them right away." Marianne in Texas

Great for my dry skin patches. Thanks MoSoap!" Ken in New Mexico
